David Koller leaves the band Lucie

Singer, musician, and composer David Koller announced on social media that he is leaving the band Lucie. 'After long consideration, I have decided to leave Lucie. Playing with Lucie was great, and now I want to focus primarily on my own band and family. Greetings to all the fans,' Koller wrote. 'We will still play all the concerts with Lucie until the end of the summer,' Koller added in his Facebook post. Some of the biggest hits of the legendary band Lucie, which was formed in 1986, include 'Šrouby do hlavy,' 'Chci zas v tobě spát,' 'Oheň,' and 'Amerika.' The debut album of Lucie from 1990 already broke records. However, Lucie went silent for a long time in 2006. The band released their latest album, EvoLucie, in 2018 - 16 years after their previous album. The album received the Anděl music award for Album of the Year in 2019.
